Overview

Drifica is a mountain that has a height of 6447 meters. It was first climbed by the Japanese in the year of 1978. It is present in the valley of Charakusa. This valley is known as the home of rocky and tiny peaks. From Drifica, you can enjoy the panoramic views of K2, Broad peak, GII, and GI.
This peak is quite difficult to climb even for the proficient climbers. It is one of the hardest mountains to climb in the Karakoram Range. The base camp of Drifica is beautiful. You will witness beautiful grassy grounds surrounded by snowy peaks. The climbers can use the small peaks for adaptation as there are many small peaks near Drifica’s base camp. It is easy to climb these small peaks as they are straightforward.

There are many smaller peaks to be used for acclimatization, which are very close to base camp of Drifika. The climb is short and straightforward and it lies at a comparatively low altitude.
