Overview
This trek runs through the enchanting lands of Western finger of great Himalayas replete with alpine meadows, lofty pinnacles, dense forests and strangely fantastic forms of landscape that qualify it as a best trekking route in Pakistan.This 15 days adventure makes a circuit of the 8125m Nanga Parbat. This only Himalayan peak in Pakistan offers the grandest spectacle from distance but we will have breathtaking close-ups of its ‘hundred faces’ during this tour.Starting with an easy to moderate walking of two to four hours daily along the lateral moraines and flat green pastures, we will cross the Mazino Pass, which is the strenuous and sensational climax of this adventure.

The base camp services for the Trekking include a flight from Islamabad to Skardu and back. There is a Jeep drive from Skardu to Askoli and return, with porters or mules to carry luggage where the jeep cannot reach. Pick-up and drop-off services from the airport to the hotel and vice versa are provided. Participants will enjoy a 3-night stay at hotel in Islamabad with bed and breakfast included. The Trekking includes the royalty and permit from the Pakistan Government, maps for trekking and climbing, and porters carrying up to 20 kg of personal baggage. Climbers are provided with three meals a day and comfortable accommodation in a hotel, lodge, or tents. At the base camp, each individual gets a mattress and pillow, along with facilities like a dining tent, kitchen tent, communication tent, toilet, staff tent, tent for Pakistani base camp staff, store tents, tables, chairs, and all necessary cooking gear. Twin-sharing tents for members, experienced and well-trained cook and kitchen helpers, a heating system in the dining tent and other necessary tents, a solar panel/electricity generator, medical and first aid kit, and a professional and experienced tour guide are also included. Additionally, all taxes and fees required for necessary tools, as well as a farewell dinner, are covered.

The services do not cover airfare for international flights or the Pakistan visa fee. Personal climbing equipment like sleeping bags and oxygen masks are not provided, nor are minibars during hotel stays or travels. Distinct items for individuals, such as single occupancy rooms, may incur extra charges. Group climbing gear, including ropes, ice screws, snow bars, EPI gas, cooking pots, and others, is also excluded. An insurance policy for mountain climbing rescue and evacuation, which is mandatory, is not included. Lodging and meals after the base camp, as well as meals in Islamabad other than breakfast, are not covered. Any costs arising from the necessity of an early conclusion or summit attempt, such as additional hotel nights, hotel meals, and evacuation expenses, must be borne by the participants. Costs resulting from unforeseeable delays beyond the company’s control (Force majeure) are not included. Finally, personal communication expenses like phone, fax, or email from Pakistan to the home country are not covered.

We take today drive to Tarishing Astore, having an overnight at Chilas, shadowing by the Nanga Parbat peak. Early morning drive to Chilas by Air Conditioned coach on KKH and along the Indus River. We will have lunch at Besham. From here we drive through the deep Indus gorge. Arrive Chilas in 12-13 hours. |

Early we start our trek on easy trails and after one hour we will cross the Tarashing Glacier and enter into the lower Rupal Valley with big summer settlements before reach our camping spot Bazin, just under the solid ice wall of east face of Nanga Parbat. |

We start trek on Bazin Glacier which takes about two hours to cross. After the glacier the trek becomes pleasant through the juniper and willow trees. The trek continues up to the Rupal River, Herligkoffer base camp to Shaigiri where we will camp. The place offers captivating views of the southern face of Nanga Parbat. At Shaigiri porters slaughter a goat and arrange campfire. |

| Trek to Mazino High Camp (4724 m) 5/6 hrs (Today’s trek is relatively hard due to the steep ascending and the Mazino glacier walking. We also leave behind the vegetation and camp at high altitude just near to the base of the pass.) |

The climax of the trek today will be the crossing of the Mazino Pass (5399m). We will start ascending very early morning. The climb is gradual and less difficult than the other side of the pass which requires basic climbing and safety measures and tools. After crossing the pass Loiba glacier starts and we will camp here at upper Loiba for overnight |
